Location selection based on Custom User Field

For customers which dont have filled the telefphone number field for endusers or for customer which use one E164 Number Range for all Locations (but have different configurations per Location, for example the Device Pool), EasyUC gives you the Option to make the Location selection based on a custom user field.

For example, in your LDAP system, each user has the correct Location saved in the l field. Then you could import the l field to the CUCM Enduser, which can be used then from EasyUC.

How to use the Custom User Field in EasyUC?

In EasyUC you need to create a new CUCM Connection.

As you see, as Location Type you need to select “Custom Enduser Attribute” and then select the Custom User Field which you configured in CUCM.

Also you need to specifie your number range, so that we are abe to monitor your number range and select free numbers for you and so on.
